**Location: “**City Point” Business Center Position Type: Full-time Do you enjoy turning complex business needs into clear, structured solutions? The Baku Stock Exchange is looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support trading operations and business process improvements. In this role, you will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and market participants to gather requirements, coordinate initiatives, perform market research, and contribute to enhancements aligned with business, regulatory, and operational needs. What You’ll Be Doing Business Requirements & Documentation Collaborate with relevant departments and market participants to collect business and regulatory requirements Translate requirements into clear documentation (workflows, user stories, process maps, and diagrams) Prepare summaries/business cases outlining objectives and expected impact Communicate business logic and clarified requirements to implementation teams Follow up on implementation progress to ensure alignment with business objectives Project Support & Coordination Support projects related to trading systems, member operations, and market process improvements Assist in defining scope, tracking timelines, and following up on milestones Identify potential delays/risks and support timely delivery Share regular updates with internal and external stakeholders Market Research & New Initiatives Conduct analytical and comparative research on new instruments, trading functionalities, and market development initiatives Collect insights from regional/international exchanges and identify best practices Summarize findings and prepare reports to support decision-making Feasibility & Impact Analysis Evaluate operational and market feasibility of proposed projects/initiatives Analyze expected impact on trading operations, member participation, and market liquidity Support preparation of concept notes and feasibility summaries for management discussions Continuous Improvement Gather feedback from internal users and trading members to identify inefficiencies Propose improvements in workflows, documentation, and communication processes Stay informed about regional and international market practices and trends Visualization & Presentation Visualize complex processes through clear diagrams and structured formats Prepare concise presentations for internal teams and management Ensure materials are professional, accurate, and easy to interpret What You Bring to the Table Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Understanding of financial markets, instruments, and trading operations Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to create structured documentation and process diagrams Preferred Skills Russian language skills are an advantage Experience working with cross-functional teams, vendors, or regulated environments Key Attributes Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation Excellent written and verbal communication in Azerbaijani and English Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities Team-oriented, proactive, and responsible mindset Please send your CV to the e-mail address in the Apply for job button with the subject line “Business Analyst/ Leading Business Analyst”
