Job Title: Full-time, Permanent

Position Summary:

  • Support the daily inspection operations by managing documentation, coordinating material and equipment movements, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth communication between internal teams, suppliers, and clients. The role is responsible for tracking inspection activities, controlling stock and consumables, preparing reports, and providing administrative and logistical support to ensure timely, efficient, and compliant service delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Receive and respond to inspection enquiries in a professional manner.

  • Process Delivery Tickets for customers promptly and accurately.

  • Monitor and record the movement of tubulars inspection.

  • Order required materials and ensure accuracy upon receipt, responding to supplier queries and providing additional information (including photos) when needed.

  • Order stock/consumables required for Inspection services

  • Manage and control storehouse inventory: release materials, record incoming/outgoing items, and monitor material usage.

  • Conduct weekly stock checks.

  • Complete all inspection documentation assigned by Inspection Supervisors.

  • Prepare presentations, STs, CTXs, and send them to the Inspection Supervisor.

  • Process Service Tickets for Accounting.

  • Update all registers in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Prepare inspection, weekly, and monthly reports.

  • Perform photocopying, scanning, and other administrative tasks as required.

  • Prepare employee rotation plans and maintain staff attendance, timesheets, and daily POB sheets.

  • Provide translation/interpretation support when required.

  • Search for the qualitative tools and material, share details with the procurement team, and manage delivery notes.

  • Track material deliveries and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.

  • Arrange lunch for personnel and provide monthly lunch details to Accounting in the required format.

  • Maintain all registers under the guidance of the Inspection Supervisor.

  • Send inspection reports to the Supervisor, respond to related queries, provide additional information, trace pipe data as requested by clients, and implement required changes.

  • Keep the consumables list updated weekly and share with the Supervisor.

  • Arrange stationery and coordinate canteen provisions.

  • Ensure PPE cleaning services are completed on time.

  • Coordinate servicing of equipment, machinery, and transport.

  • Conduct annual inventory of base assets.

  • Upload job-related information to the server.

  • Send equipment for repair and manage return.

  • Supply supervisors and inspectors with previous inspection records.

  • Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the Line Manager safely and within set deadlines.

Required qualifications & experience

  • Technical/vocational certificate preferred.

  • Minimum 4–7 years of experience in inspection or related operational roles.

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Good written and spoken English.

  • Willingness to learn quickly and continuously improve knowledge and skills.

Inspection Assistant / OCTG Inspector Assistant

Job Title: Full-time, Permanent Position summary: Support OCTG inspectors in conducting inspections, yard stock management and paperwork - assist with equipment setup, cleaning, sorting and basic measurements under supervision. Key responsibilities Assist inspectors with pre-job setup (cleaning tubulars, positioning pipes, preparing thread protectors and marking). Help with basic measurements, visual checks, and recording simple data (pipe IDs, lengths) into tally sheets under direction. Prepare and maintain inspection area: clean parts before inspection, collect consumables, remove swarf and maintain housekeeping. Assist with instrument handling (carry/position equipment), assist in photographic documentation and help pack/reload accepted/rejected tubulars. Support yard activities: receive deliveries, store tubulars according to ID and client instructions, and help with simple inventory tasks. Follow HSE instructions, PPE use, and report any hazards to the inspector/supervisor. Required qualifications & experience Minimum: School certificate. Previous yard or oil-field experience preferred but not always required. 2–3 years related experience. Desirable skills Willingness to learn NDT basics and progress to inspector training, basic numeracy, ability to follow instructions, physically fit for yard duties, reliable and punctual. Typical progression Many assistants are trained on the job and progress to Junior OCTG Inspector roles once they obtain NDT training/certifications (ASNT levels or company courses). OCTG Inspector / Tubular Inspector Job Title: Full-time, Permanent Position summary: Perform visual inspections of OCTG products (casing, tubing, drill pipe and related tubulars) to ensure compliance with client specifications, API standards and company quality procedures. Key responsibilities Inspect incoming, in-process and outgoing OCTG tubulars (casing, tubing, drill pipe, and components) using Visual Testing (VT) and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods (MT, PT, UT, EMI, etc.). Perform thread inspections, measure dimensions and verify material IDs / heat numbers against documentation and traceability records. Operate, calibrate and maintain inspection equipment (UT probes, EMI/Rotomac units, MPI/pen testing kits) and perform pre-job equipment checks. Classify, document and report defects (corrosion, cracking, galling, thread damage) and make disposition recommendations per API 5CT / DS-1 / company acceptance criteria. Prepare detailed inspection reports, pipe tally sheets and photographic evidence; maintain accurate records in the inspection system. Liaise with QA/QC, production and client representatives; enforce HSE rules during inspection activities. Required qualifications & experience Technical / vocational certificate preferred. Minimum 4–7 years’ experience in OCTG / tubular inspection. Certifications: ASNT Level II (or equivalent) in MT, PT, UT, VT recommended/ preferred for many roles; training in API standards (API 5CT) is an advantage. Skills & competencies Strong understanding of OCTG product specifications (API 5CT, related reference documents) and inspection acceptance criteria. Able to read technical drawings, work instructions and inspection procedures; good report writing and basic MS Office skills. Attention to detail, good eyesight (or corrected), physical ability to work in yards and lift moderate loads, and adherence to HSE requirements. Typical tools / tests used Visual inspection tools, calipers, thread gauges, UT (ultrasonic), MT (magnetic particle), drift tools, PT (dye/penetrant), EMI/eddy current units, borescopes. Deliverables / KPIs Timely, accurate inspection reports and tally sheets; equipment calibration logs maintained; defect capture rate and correct dispositioning; zero HSE incidents during inspection activities. Required qualifications & experience Bachelor’s degree or technical/vocational qualification in HSE, Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline (preferred). Minimum 4–7 years of experience in QHSE roles within industrial, engineering, or operational environments. Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards. Experience in incident investigation, risk assessment, and audit processes. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Good command of written and spoken English.
