On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer

An international industrial company is looking for an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical engineering scope of major industrial and capital projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of electrical systems for industrial and process facilities
Prepare and review engineering deliverables including single-line diagrams, schematics, load lists, and cable schedules
Oversee power distribution systems, substations, motor control, lighting, grounding, and protection systems
Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA)
Coordinate electrical design activities with process, mechanical, civil, automation, and project teams
Manage electrical scope, schedule, and budget across multiple projects
Conduct technical reviews, risk assessments, and constructability evaluations
Interface with clients, vendors, and contractors to resolve technical issues
Mentor and lead electrical engineers and designers
Support procurement activities, technical bid evaluations, and vendor selection
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 7–14 years of experience in electrical and power system engineering within heavy industrial, EPC/EPCM, or large-scale projects
Mandatory experience with minerals, metals, DRI/HBI, or similar industrial facilities
Strong expertise in power system analysis tools (ETAP, SKM PowerTools, PowerFactory or similar)
Proven experience with HV/MV substations, switchgear, transformers, and protection systems
Experience leading an electrical engineering discipline or team
Fluent English is mandatory (Azerbaijani, Russian, or Mandarin is an advantage)
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
